📦 WHAT YOU NEED

• Newflasher — Sony firmware flashing utility
• XperiFirm — Firmware downloader
• Sony Flashmode Drivers
• Japan KDDI JP firmware 64.2.D.2.261
• Customized CN firmware 64.2.F.2.241
• USB cable
• Windows PC

📁 STEP 1 — PREPARATION

1. Download both firmware packages using XperiFirm.
2. Extract the Japan KDDI JP and Customized CN firmware into separate folders.
3. Place newflasher.exe inside the firmware folder you are going to flash.
4. Verify that the firmware corresponds to the SOG09 model.

🇯🇵 STEP 2 — FLASH JAPAN KDDI JP

1. Power off the Xperia SOG09 completely.
2. Press and hold Volume Down (-).
3. Connect the USB cable to the PC while holding the button.
4. A green LED indicates Flashmode.
5. Open the Japan KDDI JP firmware folder.
6. Run newflasher.exe.
7. Follow the Newflasher prompts.
8. Allow the complete flashing process to finish.

🇨🇳 STEP 3 — FLASH CUSTOMIZED CN REGION

The Customized CN 64.2.F.2.241 package can be used as the intermediate firmware in the region-change procedure.

1. Move newflasher.exe into the Customized CN firmware folder.
2. Power off the phone.
3. Enter Flashmode using Volume Down (-).
4. Connect the phone to the PC.
5. Run newflasher.exe.
6. Follow the prompts and allow the firmware operation to finish.
7. Do not disconnect the device while files are being written.

🔄 STEP 4 — FRP UNLOCK PROCESS

1. Turn on the phone.
2. Open Select Language.
3. Tap Next.
4. Tap Skip.
5. Choose Setup Offline . Complete Setup .
6. Enable Developer Options.
7. FRP is now removed.

🇯🇵 STEP 5 — RESTORE JAPAN KDDI JP

After completing the FRP UNLOCK PROCESS, restore the original Japan KDDI JP 64.2.D.2.261 firmware.

1. Enter Flashmode again — the green LED should appear.
2. Open the Japan KDDI JP firmware folder.
3. Run newflasher.exe.
4. Flash the complete firmware package.
5. Wait until Newflasher reports that flashing is complete.
6. Disconnect the USB cable only after the operation is complete.
7. Power on the device and allow Android to boot.
